Four weeks of cease fire between  Israel, the U.S. & Iran, with hundreds of ships unable to move in the Gulf of Hormuz while Trump and the Iranian Republican Force try to get "their" act together. Meanwhile  we fret over the inconvenience of petrol on our lifestyle while hundreds of sea faring crewmen remain isolated in the strait under threat of attack, should they move. Trump said he'd bring hell to Iran if they did not oblige his demands and they didn't. The hell is now upon innocent crewmen and those who can't afford or access fuel. Like Putin, his arrogance will not allow him to admit he was wrong to take the action he did and so he remains stubborn despite the world telling him otherwise.

Kings have come and gone and many, like Trump and Putin have wrought havoc on others through their abuse of authority and their self centred egos.  In thirteenth century Britain this came to a head when the barons at that time, had had enough of King  John 111s cruel, untrustworthy and extortionate nature. They rebelled and as a consequence the magna carta came into being, limiting the royal powers, protecting feudal rights and establishing the king was subject to the law.

Recently KIng Charles 111 of England spoke at the U.S. Congress reminding them of the importance, not only of his sovereign influence in neighbouring countries such a Canada, which Trump believes should be a state of America, but also of the need for appointed authotitive figures to be held accountable for their actions. In so saying he quoted the magna carta, which sent many scrambling to find out its meaning.

Two weeks prior Pope Leo X1V had stated the world was being ravaged by a handful of tyrants. He criticized leaders who manipulate religion to justify personal and political gain. Trump took this personally and so if the cap fits, then he obviously wares it. Both Charles and Leo appear to be the right men for our times to be in the position to make such comments. Given the authority in their positions to speak up for the majority and manifest what most think but can not say, brings about greater confidence and certainty to also speak out and do something that will be constructive. Time will tell, as history yet again does another cycle. We just happen to be on the planet at the same time, this time around.

9 months to Christmas and what have we done? If you are Donald Trump you've started what could be another world war.  He is a quandry as he conducts his affairs without consultancy and is totalirian in his approach, having a similar mind set to Putin, who he has befriended. He uses Christianity as a lever for his votes, yet his actions seem to be far from Christian. His wife Malenia and second in command J.D. Vance are however practisings Catholics.

Much of the world needs tidying up as drug trafficing and the upbeat of radical Islamists trying to diminish Western civilization, along with the gullable woke communities, have increased exponentially. When you look at the number of times America has entered into conflict on the global stage, none have been approved by the U. N. That said the U.N approves no warfare. Fighting fire with fire might be the answer if our Western (Christian based civilzation) is to survive. We are involved in a spiritual battle.

This brings me to figuring out why my song "Looking for the Promised Land" might  be popular in Muslim countries. For a start it focuses on the area where most of these countries are situated. More significantly is the content which points to the folly of so many  who live in the Western society. Many Westerners have used the freedom given to the extent that many have become self-indulgent, entitled and often unappreciative of what they  have or had. One of the verses even refer to Christ, who Muslims believe was a prophet but not the Son of God.  He tells us to stop feeling sorry for ourselves when things don't turn out as they had hoped,  but to prioritise what needs to be done. Ever likely I don't get the thumbs up from my own.
